Celebrate Public Power With Us!
Open House September 30
Black River Falls Municipal Utility is celebrating the importance of public power Oct. 2-8, during Public Power Week, along with more than 2,000 other electric utilities that collectively provide electricity on a nonprofit basis to 46 million Americans.
Public Power Week honors Black River Falls Municipal Utilities’ hometown service as a local resource for energy efficiency. As a public power community, we are locally-owned, customer-focused, and dedicated to helping customers save energy and money.
Public Power Week is a national, annual event sponsored in conjunction with the American Public Power Association, the national service organization for community and state-owned electric utilities. This year Black River Falls Municipal Utility is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Public Power Week by honoring the local control that allows the matching of local resources to meet local needs.
On Friday, September 30, please join us for refreshments between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Utility office. While you are here register for a chance to win up to $1,500 in ENERGY STAR products! You do not need to be present to win but the deadline for entries is Friday, October 7, 2011.
